PNG to PDF Converter for Screenshots, Diagrams, and Graphics

PNG to PDF converts PNG image files into PDF output with document-style page settings. PNG is common for screenshots, interface captures, diagrams, charts, transparent graphics, and sharp visual notes. PDF is more convenient when those images need to be reviewed as pages, printed, attached to a form, or stored with other documents.

The visible uploader accepts .png files. Once images are added, the page shows controls for page size, page orientation, margins, and merging images into one PDF file. The generated output is listed with file name, size, and download action. Uploaded PNG files and generated PDF results handled by this file-processing page are temporary and are deleted after one hour.

How to Use PNG to PDF

  1. Upload one or more PNG images with the Select a File button in the upload area.
  2. Check the selected images before converting, especially if the order matters.
  3. Choose a page size: Fit, A4, or US Letter.
  4. Choose a page orientation: Automatic, Portrait, or Landscape.
  5. Select a margin option: No Margin, Small Margin, or Big Margin.
  6. Use Merge all images in one PDF file when the PNG images should become a single multi-page document.
  7. Select Convert to PDF and download the result from the table below the form.

For screenshots or interface captures, page order is often more important than file name. Place the images in the order a reader should view them before starting the conversion.

When PNG Is the Right Source Format

PNG is useful when image clarity matters. Screenshots, diagrams, charts, and UI captures often contain text and sharp lines, so converting them to PDF can make review easier without forcing the recipient to open many separate images.

  • Bug reports: combine numbered screenshots into one PDF for developers or support teams.
  • Design notes: turn interface mockups or visual references into a document-style packet.
  • Class or training material: collect diagrams and screen captures into a printable PDF.
  • Form evidence: submit a screenshot as a PDF when a portal expects document uploads.

If the source files are camera photos rather than screenshots, JPG to PDF is usually the more direct converter. If the upload set mixes several image formats, use Image to PDF instead of converting each format separately.

Layout Choices for PNG Documents

Wide screenshotLandscape or Automatic orientationPrevents the capture from becoming too small on the page.

Use No Margin for full-page screenshots when every pixel matters. Use a margin when the PDF will be printed or reviewed beside other documents.

Quality Checks Before Sharing

After downloading the PDF, open it and zoom in on small text, icons, or diagram labels. PNG images often contain fine details; if the page is too small, try a different orientation or page size and convert again.

When the result is larger than the upload limit for another service, compress the final document rather than changing the PNG source unnecessarily. If the document later needs to become images again, PDF to PNG is the reverse task, but the exported images should be reviewed before replacing the original PNG files.

Preparing Screenshot Sets for Review

When several PNG screenshots explain a problem, place them in a logical order before converting. Start with the screen that shows the context, then add the error, setting, confirmation, or final state. This makes the PDF easier for a support agent, developer, teacher, or reviewer to follow without asking for the missing step.

PNG screenshots may contain small text, menu labels, and icons. If those details matter, avoid shrinking the page too much. A landscape page can be more readable for wide browser or app screenshots, while A4 or US Letter may be better for a form capture that needs to fit a normal document page.

When to Keep the Original PNG Files

Keep the original PNG files when the images are design assets, transparent graphics, annotated screenshots, or source evidence. The PDF is useful for sharing and review, but the PNG files remain better for image editing, pixel-level comparison, or reuse in a design tool.
